This week our parents have been coming into school for our workshops around oracy. These sessions are proving invaluable in engaging parents in how we develop the children's confidence and articulacy, and how they can support this at home. @MrsM_Court @mrsrmurad @LiftSchools

The power of Ai!

Reception have enjoyed creating themselves in a fictional world, through the use of descriptive words in an Ai image generator.

Reception had a brilliant morning at The Play Village, we got to role-play many job roles such as a Doctor, a Dentist, a Vet, a Firefighter, A Cafe Owner and many more!

This week I introduced Mini me’s in our small world area.
Children have enjoyed reenacting real life scenarios with small versions of themselves and staff.

We had a wonderful day at The Botanical Gardens, we explored the different plants, flowers AND we got to meet some interesting animals. We also loved our break at the on-site park!

Miss Strickley has been minding Reception's chrysalides over the Easter break and is happy to report that we now have butterflies with more on the way! @MrsM_Court @mrsrmurad @Elees16

We’ve been really excited today as our caterpillars are starting to become chrysalides!
They should be fully cocooned by the end of this week!

Did you know that caterpillars liquify inside their chrysalises and reform as butterflies?
