Hall of ElegantArmor

A tribute to the armored, the awesome, the exceptional, and the elegant. A hub for comics, classics, gaming, and geeks. A little class, a little badass.

@Brandon1478 @danieltkyoung @JeremyECrawford This 100%.
A +1 shield is approximately as useful as a +1 weapon or a +1 shield. So I'm quite confused RAW doesn't allow this to affect a shield. It can be house ruled (very easily) but definitely curious on the choice the design team would deny a very clear thematic option.

@Borderlands @SubParLover Have you seen the Walking Dead? The Last of Us? The Zombie Island of Dr Ned?
You have been misinformed.

[Hall of ElegantArmor @ElegantArmor]

@maro254 @Wizards @wizards_magic Ahah! Doesn't make me any happier, but that totally answers my question. I won't bug you with my analysis/debate why that artistic choice was weak. Thank you!

[Hall of ElegantArmor @ElegantArmor]

@maro254 @Wizards @wizards_magic Why, on God's green earth, doesn't Adventures in the Forgotten Realms, a break out, unique attempt to bring D&D into the fold of MtG.... not have a single card supporting the party mechanic? You know...and aventuring party? #rpg #tabletop #obvious

[Hall of ElegantArmor @ElegantArmor]

@maro254 @Wizards @wizards_magic Le sigh. You are the developers of the gods-forsaken-realms set. That's what I'm saying. From your mouth to gods' ears: "we didn't include it because we didn't develop the set that way."
I know. We all know. I'm asking who forgot to include it in, of all sets, *THE* RPG Set?

[Hall of ElegantArmor @ElegantArmor]

@maro254 @Wizards @wizards_magic Again, 💯 correct. *cue Bernie* Once again I am asking: WHY? Besides the lore failure of adapting DnD characters/Legends into cards--don't get me started--this set would have would have PERFECT for Party.. less work for you, more support for a neat keyword you introduced 1 yr ago

[Hall of ElegantArmor @ElegantArmor]

@maro254 @Wizards @wizards_magic That's right, no actual support for "Party" itself in the *Dungeons and Dragons* set which failed in Zen Rising.
Actual use of the keyword would have supported the Zen release *and* tried to develop it more in a set that screams "Party Mechanic"

Giving a shout out for some new high protein "healthy" sweets--cuz I'm a sucker for that health and dessert fusion!

@_AlexHirsch I loved it. I cackled, I cried, I compared it to Gravity Falls throughout.
It was bright and beautiful, explosive and relatable. In an apocalyptic, family road-trip, Furby army nightmare sort of way.

@TheAmandaGorman Wonderful words you spoke from your heart to our country--and the world. My friend produced this short piece, thought I might try to share it between the two poets, should you ever have the time to unwind (and rewind).

@SirPatStew Thank you for your Sonnets. And all your work really.
We're doing a "home reading" of an adapted King Lear tonight, 630pm pst on Zoom. Not presuming you'll be able to attend; but in such times, I thought I'd tweet. Temba, his arms wide.
