@luciacrabs when you are famous, everyone sees you either as a celeb or a opportunity to leech/grow themselves. Its very difficult to make real connections/friends in that situation.
@GALAXAYI@SweetfmthCircus Which is why both are right in a sense. Yes money is super important in our society and anyone saying its not is crazy. But the other two are also right in saying that there is more to life than just money.

@IJoukov@gaiaslastlaugh I literally use my grocery shopping trips to get out and walk. I choose shop thats a bit further away so I get more daily steps in because its nice to get out and be more healthy.
@theistinthought The real answer is that there are stores with parking lots even inside the city. They are smaller but still enough space for 10-30 cars depending on size. Which is enough to service the people who want to do big groceries. While most other people do more 'casual' shoppign.
@ipnotjcaa portable one is like 600 bucks got it 5 years ago and still using it, definitely worth it since you only need it for your bedroom and only use it for a few weeks tops.
@gaiaslastlaugh there is a big difference between understanding/speaking japanese and cramming 3000 kanjis in your head. What you're hearing is the people who are into the latter but probably wont be able to properly speak japanese but somehow can read all kanji xD
@shiorichanvt dry heat is usually easier to deal with than humid heat, but probably just not used to the difference. having been to various hot places, europe hot isn't as bad as SEA I would say personally
