Post office accounts always received a clean bill of health.

One of the only downsides of Aussie academia for me was less holiday time (approx 4 weeks in aus vs 6 weeks in uk academia). Either don’t see your family or spend all of your holidays seeing your family (hence no time for aus holidays)
