Strengthening Democracy Through Inclusive Voter Registration
Yesterday, after attending the graduation ceremony of the Millennium College of Nursing Sciences in Awka, I visited an INEC Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) Centre in Enugu.
I was pleased to witness an orderly and well-organised registration process. I also met a number of people patiently queuing to register, demonstrating their commitment to participating in our democracy. I commend the INEC staff for their dedication and professionalism.
I, however, urge INEC to extend the Continuous Voter Registration exercise to at least 90 days before the General Elections to give more eligible Nigerians the opportunity to register and participate in the electoral process.

Dear @POTUS@realDonaldTrump,
Are you aware that the ruining party of Nigeria, @OfficialAPCNg, and the @NigeriaGov under the leadership of @officialABAT, are peddling a letter of appreciation, purportedly from you to Tinubu, who underwent trials and was found culpable in heroine trafficking in the US (and had to forfeit USD 460,000) in 1993?
Could you please confirm if you’re now a supporter of Drug Traffickers? Kindly let us know. Thank you.
Dear @POTUS@realDonaldTrump,
Are you aware that Nigeria’s ruling party, @OfficialAPCNg, and the @NigeriaGov under the leadership of @officialABAT, are circulating a supposed letter of appreciation from you to Tinubu, the same individual who was tried and found culpable in a 1993 U.S. heroin trafficking case, forcing him to forfeit $460,000?
Could you confirm whether you now endorse drug traffickers?
We would appreciate your clarification.
Thank you.

@atiku’s US Lobbyist Submits U.S. Department of Justice, Records Pertaining to Drug Trafikking on Tinubu, To Trump Administration
A Washington-based lobbying firm, Von Batten-Montague-York, L.C. @batten_von, has announced that it has begun providing members of the Trump administration, members of the US Congress and senior congressional staff with historical Department of Justice (DOJ) records relating to allegations made against President Bola Tinubu in a decades-old civil forfeiture case.
The firm, which was retained in March by African Democratic Congress (ADC) presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar under a 12-month lobbying contract reportedly worth $1.2 million, disclosed the move in a post on X, saying it had started circulating more than 60 pages of DOJ documents after engaging officials in Washington. It also released a chronology of the 1993 forfeiture proceedings and subsequent Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) litigation. https://t.co/dPaG7CqXAc

I think Channels TV should rename Politics Today to Peter Obi Today. In every edition anchored by Seun Okinbaloye this year, he has managed to drag Peter Obi into the conversation. At this point, if a guest tells Seun they are hungry, he might ask, “Why hasn’t Peter Obi given you food?” That’s how bad it has become.

The “first son” of Nigeria ,a nation among the world’s poorest ,flew out with his family to enjoy $60k (₦85m) VIP tickets per person in the luxury section.
This came days after the First Lady passionately urged celebs to swap flashy lifestyles for philanthropy.
Question is: Did that heartfelt sermon not reach Seyi’s ears? 🤔
