Our Pelicans soared over to a volleyball game this afternoon, LPE vs St John the Baptist Parish Sheriff's Office. It was a great time had by all. Both teams played hard and gave their all. Way to go Pels and SJSO!

7th graders got a taste of campus life today as they toured LSU. They got a chance to visit the Quad, see Mike the Tiger, check out the state-of-the-art engineering building and get lunch at the student union, all while learning about the various academic programs offered at LSU.

The Nutrien Seed Survivor truck visited LPE’s 3rd and 4th graders on Friday. Scholars learned all about Louisiana agriculture, played interactive games, and planted their own sunflower seeds to take home.

Ms. Newman’s 3rd grade class won a bulletin board contest sponsored by Pelican State CU!! The class was awarded $250 for classroom needs!!
