@OLionairdo@Doyler001 Hi @OLionairdo my sincere apologies for the delay in getting back to you, but unfortunately, I had no choice but to submit an official question to last Monday's meeting to get a response. Please see it attached here.
@MacL0ve@LimerickCouncil@Doyler001 Hi Eoin, thanks for sharing, I suggested once some traffic calming good practice I saw in another country, and I was told at the time that it wasn't in the Roads Design Manual and therefore couldn't be implemented only because it existed in another country. @TFIupdates@Buseireann Hi, the bus doesn't go to UL on way to Raheen but it does on the way back. Re: the stop at UL on the 304 from Raheen to Castletroy-the same bus continues up to the JnJ roundabout on certain times of the day and then comes back and drives up to Kilmurry Lodge continuing to Raheen.
@Buseireann Could you please confirm if 304 bus takes breaks at UL stop? Also some 304 buses go to JnJ roundabout and then drive back up by Kilmurry Lodge Hotel, only at certain times, which is not on their timetable. This increases journey times for commuters. Please advise.
Thank you to our local councillor @elenasecas for organising the funding for and installation of the new volleyball net in the Castletroy Park which we can use with our PE Classes.
@Live95fmNews@kodonnellLK How is this news when the Castletroy GS was already included in the An Garda Síochána Capital Plan Pipeline Projects on sites 2025-2030, & the Commissioner approved the capital spend in September 2023with OPW being tasked to find a site 2 years ago?@Limerick_Leader@limerickpost
@LimerickToday Great to see 20 extra Gardai for Limerick from Templemore graduates being allocated to Limerick. Common sense prevailed as the initial allocation in June of only 2 gardai, out of the 120 graduates was a complete joke. Next we need an update on the Garda station for Castletroy
