Це важливе і давно назріле рішення. Держава, яка поважає себе, повинна мати місце, де гідно вшановані ті, хто в різні часи творив, відновлював, захищав і розвивав Україну.

Український національний пантеон засвідчує нашу історичну тяглість і розуміння того, що сучасна українська держава не постала на порожньому місці, а стала результатом боротьби, праці, жертовності й служіння багатьох поколінь.

Це також важлива демонстрація єдності та відповідальності. Єдності – бо спільна пам’ять об’єднує суспільство. Відповідальності – бо ми зобов’язані берегти цю пам’ять і передати її наступним поколінням.

Дякую Президенту України за цю ініціативу. Дякую всім, хто долучився до розробки, підтримки й ухвалення цього рішення.

Це важливий крок для зміцнення української державності.

A Brigadier General who, in 12 years, rose from enlisted soldier to corps commander.

A military leader who understands what soldier-centric command truly means, and does everything in his power to provide his personnel with everything they need: from training and logistics to detailed operational planning and the development of a comprehensive ecosystem around the unit that exists to serve its fighters.

An officer who leads by example, demonstrating that the new generation of Ukraine's military has leaders capable of rapidly and effectively reforming the armed forces, rooting out the Soviet legacy, and outdated approaches.

A man without whom Azov's history cannot be written. The one who made Azov what it is known as around the world: a unit respected by allies and feared by enemies.

Today, Hero of Ukraine, Commander of First Corps Azov of the National Guard of Ukraine, Brigadier General Denys "Redis" Prokopenko, turns 35.

"Redis" has proven time and again that he is willing to do whatever it takes to preserve his personnel's lives. He risked his own life for his fighters during the darkest days in the unit's history because "risk is the business of the brave," and he stepped up to bear responsibility at the most critical moments.

The personnel of First Corps Azov of the National Guard of Ukraine congratulate the commander on his birthday and wish him strength, endurance, and success in our shared cause: the defense of Ukraine.

We stand with you always, ready to carry out every mission assigned to us.

Following the horrific Russian attacks on Ukraine last night, the EU is striking back at Russia with scathing emails of condemnation.

🌍 World leaders and diplomats have reacted to Russia’s massive overnight attack on Ukraine.

▫️ EU Ambassador to Ukraine Katarína Mathernová called the strike on Kyiv and the Kyiv Pechersk Lavra an attack on the “foundation of Ukrainian identity and civilization.”

“The Russians will stop at nothing. They must be stopped. World, don’t look away,” she wrote.

▫️ Lithuanian President Gitanas Nausėda also condemned the attack on the Lavra and called for increased international pressure on Russia.

“In the Russian attacks on one of the holiest Orthodox shrines, we see a blatant disregard for human life, cultural heritage, and the very spiritual tradition that Russia claims as its own,” he said.

▫️ Estonian Foreign Minister Margus Tsahkna said the attack on Kyiv once again demonstrated Russia’s brutality.

“One of Christianity’s holiest monasteries is burning today because of Russia,” he stated.

Євген Коновалець належить до тих постатей, які визначили напрям української визвольної боротьби у XX столітті. Після поразки Української революції він не склав зброї, а продовжив боротьбу за незалежність України, об’єднавши навколо національної ідеї тисячі українців. Його діяльність заклала підвалини організованого націоналістичного руху, який упродовж десятиліть вів боротьбу за українську державність.

Він був переконаний, що Україна здобуде свободу лише завдяки силі власного народу, дисципліні, жертовності та незламній вірі в майбутнє. Його життя стало взірцем відданості нації та готовності самовіддано працювати заради її визволення до останнього подиху.

Пам’ятаємо внесок Євгена Коновальця у визвольну боротьбу та українське державотворення. Його слова, ідеї та чин назавжди залишилися частиною української історії, нагадуючи про ціну, яку покоління борців заплатили за право України бути вільною і незалежною.

Ще 186 українців вирвались із російського полону

5 червня 2026 року Україна визволила з російського полону ще 185 оборонців та одного цивільного. Радий вітати кожного на рідній землі!

Кожне звільнення наших завжди викликає хвилю щирих емоцій, і мене переповнює радість, коли бачу ці незабутні моменти повернення українців на волю.

Обмін за дорученням Президента України провела команда Координаційного штабу з питань полонених. Суттєву роль у цьому звільненні українців, як і в попередніх, відіграли партнери зі Сполучених Штатів Америки та Обʼєднаних Арабських Еміратів. Дякуємо!

Серед визволених – оборонці України, які воювали на всіх напрямках фронту: піхотинці, морпіхи, десантники, бійці тероборони та Сил спецоперацій, нацгвардійці, прикордонники. Більшість тих, кого вдалося повернути додому, перебували в неволі з 2022 року. Є серед звільнених і захисники Маріуполя. Зробимо все належне для лікування, відновлення та повернення до життя.

Важливо, що наші хлопці відчувають турботу вже з першого кроку на рідній землі. Важливо, що на шляху від кордону їх теплом зустрічає українська нація: море прапорів, плакатів, підтримки й любові. І нарешті – обійми найрідніших.

Після років ізоляції захисники України бачать: наша держава стоїть міцно та впевнено, і це усвідомлення додає неймовірної сили.

Робота заради звільнення з російського полону всіх наших громадян триває.

Another 185 Ukrainian defenders are returning home today from Russian captivity. One civilian is also returning along with the defenders. They are warriors of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the National Guard, and the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine – privates, sergeants, and officers. They defended our state in Mariupol and at Azovstal, as well as in the Donetsk, Luhansk, Kharkiv, Kherson, Zaporizhzhia, Sumy, Kyiv, and Kursk sectors. Among them are those returning after years in Russian captivity, where they had been held since 2022.

I thank everyone who makes this possible: the team working on exchanges and our partners. And special gratitude to the warriors who replenish our exchange fund – who, through their strength and results on the frontline, ensure the return of our people home. The work continues. The return of our people is a constant priority for Ukraine. Every day, we are working to free every Ukrainian man and woman from captivity.

Moscow and Moscow region will remain under Ukrainian strikes until Putin signs a capitulation.

Today the largest Ukrainian attack on Moscow and the Moscow region since the beginning of the war took place. Russian military infrastructure and oil facilities that generate money for Russia’s war machine were under attack.
Social media is now full of videos from residents of the Moscow region complaining that they “never thought the war would reach them.”

According to opinion polls, 75% of Moscow residents support the actions of Russian troops in Ukraine. They also support continuing the war rather than starting negotiations. These figures are roughly twice as high as the Russian national average.
Residents of Moscow participate the least in the war, suffer the fewest casualties, and the Russian authorities do everything possible to ensure that life in Moscow and Saint Petersburg remains almost unchanged from pre-war times.
As long as it did not directly affect them, Muscovites either supported the war or pretended it had nothing to do with them.

Moscow is the center of the empire. Russia has always been deeply polarized: Moscow treats many of its own territories and peoples as colonies. Strikes on other Russian regions barely concerned the Russian authorities.

For Russia and its regime, Moscow is the political, financial, ideological, and symbolic center that embodies the full concentration of power. Moscow is the main imperial symbol dominating vast regions - Putin’s personal fortress, from which the neo-imperial state is controlled and the war is directed.

That is why Putin was so afraid of Ukrainian drones during the parade.

Ukraine has now developed - and continues to develop - our long-range strike capabilities against Russia. And we will act symmetrically. Moscow’s air defense systems can no longer fully protect Russian military and oil facilities. Russia’s war against Ukraine is now also being fought on Russian territory.

Leave Ukrainian territory, pay reparations, and it will all end!

President @ZelenskyyUa: Today marks exactly four years since Putin started his three-day push to take Kyiv. And that says a great deal about our resistance, about how Ukraine has fought all this time. Behind those words stand millions of our people, immense courage, incredibly hard work, endurance, and the long path Ukraine has been pursuing since February 24.

Looking back at the beginning of the invasion and reflecting on today, we have every right to say: we have defended our independence, we have not lost our statehood; Putin has not achieved his goals.
