Hello everyone. My name is Lucio, and I was recently diagnosed with stage 2 HER2-positive breast cancer.
I never thought I’d make a post like this. I genuinely hate asking for money, and it took me days to even decide to share this on here. But things are getting harder and harder financially, and I sadly can’t manage it alone anymore.
Because I live in Germany, after 6 weeks of sick leave you receive “Krankengeld” (sick pay) from health insurance, which is only around 60–70% of your salary. Unfortunately, that simply isn’t enough to cover my rent, bills, groceries, and care for my cats.

I had emergency savings, but they are now gone.

Chemotherapy has been extremely hard on me physically. Most days I’m bedridden, which means I’m currently unable to work or even stream and stay active online like I used to.

*whispers* btw, they're also rounding down while rounding your viewcount the first time so they can allow themselves to not count some people... and then they round down again at the end when they average the averages... that's a lot of oopsies there right?

Just learned that twitch was doing an average of averages to calculate your stream average...
Can someone tell me why Twitch is not capable of hiring people that know how maths work...?
Or who knows... Maybe it's an artificial way of cutting streamer's stats?

So apparently Twitch is experimenting a system to filter bots from out of chat connections because many big streamers are viewbotted... But what about the small streamers with lurkers supporting them not being counted cuz twitch can't differentiate between bots and actual users?
