@AliEldrazi I try to win, but isn’t the sole goal. Sometimes I will shelf the optimal play to try a new card addition or do the “fun” or “dumb” thing. I play with a friend group, so it’s more about the social side than anything

@Theasianavenger @MTGGoldfish I could see Reaident Evil or Castlevania be used to fulfill that Innistrad role. I could see Zelda work because it certainly has enough characters to fill a set. Dunno if anything else would come close. Maybe Mega-Man, but that seems like it’d be an odd fit

@Theasianavenger After listening to the @MTGGoldfish podcast about Thoughtseize and WOTC revenue with UB bangers like FF. You mentioned Dragonball as one to top it, but what about something High Fantasy adjacent like Zelda or Castlevania? Also, Resident Evil UB? Thoughts?

Suggestion: a game where y’all build decks at the different levels when WOTC announces them or build what y’all deem are power level 1-4 decks? What be interesting to have some one pilot a different level for a game @BudgetCommander @SaffronOlive @MTGGoldfish @Theasianavenger

@CmdrMechanic It is repulsive it came to this. Future monetization and card design for EDH is going to be idiotic now. Curious just how the ban lost goes. Overall, a few overreacting people may have doomed an entire format and, possibly, Magic with it since it is the most popular format

@TheHermitDruid I do like how the Necrons, as a whole, have the best tech. Like literal engines to detonate stars and could rule the galaxy once more but they are all so petty and dick measure that they are their own worst enemies.

@TGrudges after the CA interview, I was wondering. Should they do smaller DLCs of older factions, say Norsca, as an example where they introduce a LL, LH, and stuff typical to a DLC but then make it where that DLC unlocks the faction as well, that way it gets people in the game?
