You might like that as it's somewhat similar to the Hold Tight Daily.
@Linda_Marric Of course, dm us your email and we'll remove it from all our systems. We don't want anyone receiving our emails that they don't want to receive.
@acfou you check out how @Gothamist is pushing two placements in the space of one to boost up impressions. How do we complain and get our ad spend back?
@TheRiverWanders@NewYorkStateAG One way or another. It's common business practice. Nikon sells camera to B&H for 2000. Then decides to drop it for a while to $1800 and wants B&H to sell it for $1800, and refunds $200 to B&H. B&H then sells to you for $1800 because they recover their loss of $200 from Nikon.
@TheRiverWanders@NewYorkStateAG You can continue to enjoy it. This case is so ridiculous it's abhorrent. The ag is claiming they should have charged you tax on the full price even though you paid a discounted rate. FYI they want you to pay it. B&H should collect it from you the customer. B&H doesn't gain
@KwikQuack @aagoldy1 @NewYorkStateAG @BHPhotoVideo Side note, this entire case is = to charging tax on a bundle or buy 1 get 1 free. Imagine asking B&H to charge sales tax on the second item they giving for free.
@KwikQuack @aagoldy1 @NewYorkStateAG @BHPhotoVideo Your anger seems to somehow stem from some competition since you seem to be all over these tweets constantly arguing for something that simply makes no sense. At least admit it. No one should pay tax on something they didn't pay for.
@KwikQuack @aagoldy1 @NewYorkStateAG @BHPhotoVideo The $200 isn't income. It's the manufacturer telling B&H we don't want you to lose $200 on every camera now. Essentially for this period of time, we are selling you the camera for $1800, and refunding you $200.
Customer gets a deal, B&H gets their money back. Everyone wins.
@KwikQuack @aagoldy1 @NewYorkStateAG @BHPhotoVideo That's not exactly accurate.
B&H buys a Nikon for $2000.
Nikon decides to drop the price to $1800 for a limited time. As a courtesy, and because they want the cameras to sell, they tell B&H, we will give you back the $200 you would have lost, and you pass this savings off.
