Sales are up 6.5%. Where did the increase come from?

“What changed?” has been built as a custom Oracle Analytics visualisation, to explore contributions by region, product and sales channel.

Can Oracle AIDP compute start and stop on a schedule without browser sign-in?

I tested an automated cycle using an OCI API signing key. Here’s what worked:

Three @OracleAnalytics Resource Groups can mean three semantic models but not three environments.
They isolate model deployments and query workloads inside one shared service. A useful architectural distinction. #OracleAnalytics

Part 2: agentic analytics series is now live.

A wrong dashboard might mislead someone.
A wrong agentic action can create consequences.

Agentic analytics needs architecture.

Part 1 of a new blog series: From Insights to Actions: Why Agentic Analytics Needs Governance

If analytics agents can perform actions, they need architecture and governance.

My latest blog: How Oracle Is Enabling Agentic Analytics.

Agentic analytics is not just a UI story. It is an architecture story spanning semantics, governed data, RAG, orchestration, agents & governance.

New blog on The Shift from Augmented to Agentic Analytics.

If augmented analytics brought AI assistance into analytics, agentic analytics takes the next step through context, orchestration and action-oriented outcomes.

Connecting OAC to AIDP is useful, but governed access by real user identity is the next important step.

I look at why it matters for analytics and agentic AI, and where Deep Data Security may fit.

New blog post: The Architecture Beneath Enterprise AI

Enterprise AI is far more than an LLM connected to company data. It depends on layers beneath the surface: data, semantics, RAG, MCP, agents, A2A & governance.

Oracle AI World London 2026 made one thing clear: agentic AI is now the centre of Oracle’s story.

My latest blog covers Fusion Agentic Applications, Deep Data Security, OCI Enterprise AI, and AIDP semantics.

AI analytics needs more than models. It needs architecture.
I explore how Oracle AI Data Platform can bridge fragmented enterprise ecosystems, bringing together structured & unstructured data with governance, catalog & semantic context.

[Joel Acha @ElffarAnalytics]

Conversational analytics doesn’t replace the semantic model. It makes it more important. AI agents still rely on governed metrics, relationships & business definitions to interpret enterprise data correctly.

Oracle AI Data Platform isn’t net new tech 🚫

It’s a new set of opinions layered on proven OCI services.

Lakehouse-first.
Governance by default.
AI on governed data.
