@Christia_Allard There is no forced labour. They would be able to choose whether they wanted to train for medicine, and choose whether they were prepared to provide just compensation to the Scottish people if they decided to deprive them of their services to earn mega bucks in the USA or Oz.

@Christia_Allard Exactly what is unfair about my proposal? Courses to train doctors are massively over subscribed, so why shouldn’t ordinary tax paying folk expect those people privileged to be chosen to spend time repaying their investment by working in our NHS?

@Christia_Allard @MigrantVoiceUK @The_IoD Free tuition for medics in Scotland should be given conditionally on them working a certain number of years in the NHS as part of a contract. If they decide to leave the NHS then they should contractually have to repay the cost of their training.

Their rights are going to be guaranteed under reciprocal agreement as part of the pre trade negotiations. Surely registering their residence is a small price to pay if they really want to live in the UK?
