Baylee Busteed and Keyera Eisenhauer represented EPS at Nebraska Leadership Camp this summer on June 9-12. NLS exists to challenge, empower, and inspire young Nebraskans to lead with their authentic self and build communities of purpose.
This week students from EPS travel to Washington D.C. and their first stop was the 911 Memorial! They were able to see the bench that commemorates Larry Getzfred, originally from Elgin, who lost his life while working at the Pentagon on 9/11.
Last week the Cornhusker Girls and Boys State Event was held in Lincoln. Congratulations to all the students who were selected from Elgin! Also, Thank you to the Elgin's Legion Post and Auxiliary for the giving the students the opportunity to attend!
