Americans buy 25% of their groceries at Walmart but the idea that Walmart has the lowest prices because of purchasing power, might only be partially true.

According to a recent, unsealed federal lawsuit, Walmart used its status as best customer to influence Pepsi into surveilling and forcing Walmart competitors to RAISE their prices so that it was impossible for them to sell Pepsi for less than Walmart did.

"It's hard to imagine that Pepsi is the only major supplier Walmart has this arrangement with."

Is it legal?

Not at all.

But our government turned a blind eye to it.
