Indianapolis is hosting this year’s Final Four.
Some would call Indiana the “Hoop State.”
However, UConn guard — and Raleigh, N.C. native — Silas Demary Jr. disagrees with that notion.
6. Always have the ambition to be better.
Complacency is the enemy of greatness.
Every day is a chance to outdo the man you were yesterday.
Set goals, crush them, and then raise the bar.
Never settle, never stagnate—relentlessly pursue your own evolution.

This kid has outplayed several scholarship level big men this season (D1 & D2) &consistently produces night in & out against an elite schedule. True post player that rebounds it at a high level, shooting 68% overall & only getting better. #BucketReel#BTWinterClassicStandout
I’ll say this about last night. First Flight proved they’re going to be a factor in the 3A playoffs. The Dobie bros are box office. Eli Hawk is one of the better bigs in the state. Look for them to make a deep run.
I got called Coach Carter today and to me that’s the ultimate compliment! He stood for all things right! He loved his players & held them accountable! Outsiders didn’t understand him! Parents tried to oust him! The players even wanted him out until they learned the love was pure!
Each time I've seen 2023 Eli Hawk @firstflighthoop, he has produced for his team. Just a solid double-double guy that plays hard, is physical, knows how to finish around the basket, and competes!
