"What about Yo Mama jokes?"
There's no time for jokes. We're dealing with a real life where people are being ripped away from their families. I've made a promise to myself to use any influence I've gained for the betterment of people.
I can't in good conscious screw off and focus on producing a cartoon. What I saw 5 years ago was an uprise in the influence of politics; whereby most young men were being pulled into an ill-defined sense of reclaiming their masculinity. Which requires everyone else to suffer outside their ideal image of America.
My family raised me for politics, I was given every chance to be in politics, and I turned that away to focus on cartoons, because of how much I hate the machine that is politics. However, I've made a mistake by limiting my voice for others in an attempt to gain my career.
That's no longer an option for me nor for others.
