Their marriage ended in divorce in 1909. Mileva received part of Einstein's later noble prize money but faded from scientific history, raising their sons alone. Her contributions were largely erased due to era's sexism, and lack of credit for women in science. She spent the rest of her life in silence, raising children..while the world worshipped Einstein.
