My last official IndyCar race of the season meant a packed Saturday: morning practice, qualifying, and night practice. It was hot, but hydration and SPF 50 kept me covered. Not sure how the drivers handled it.

To avoid storing everything inside, we set up a small tent by the caravan. The table, chairs, and rug stay dry and sheltered from the wind. A permanent campsite calls for different solutions, but it’s fun finding what suits the Eriba.

Early morning is still wonderfully cool, so we head to the beach. Norbert searches with a metal detector while we enjoy the peace and quiet. It’ll probably be much busier in a few hours!
