@WesNemo@TimDotTV I mean to be fair that has been a growing trend in general across the gaming industry.
Shipping incomplete games only to put content behind a paywall i.e. season pass.
I miss when they had legitimate expansions as DLC and the game shipped complete, but it has been awhile, lol.
@WesNemo@ProKoozie You should check out some of Spaceboy's stuff with James Randall.. spent way too much time watching some of the VODs posted on YouTube. Most of them are pretty hilarious.
@RussoHockey This grit first style of play doesn't work if you give up more goals and can't put pucks in the back of the net. Definitely losing the skill game and can't neutralize theirs.
Well looks like this #mnwild season is going in the dumpster unless they have a miracle comeback in them. I think it's time to fire all the coaching staff and try something new because whatever they're doing isn't it lol
@RussoHockey would be good if they could at least get a shot on goal. Build momentum, miss the net and then give up a goal going the other way. #mnwild
If I were to watch a YouTube video/series around Pokemon lore. Is there one that you all would recommend for someone that knows nothing about Pokemon?
I would love to at least have a faint idea what people are talking about, lol.
@kelslewin@GameHistoryOrg Gamefly is still around, but it's focused on modern games. They don't do retro, and I'm not familiar of ones that do it for retro games.
@kelslewin@GameHistoryOrg curiosity question, what about the reintroduction of systems like Gamefly? You have a subscription to a service, and you rent games from the library without being physically present due to it being mailed.
How do you preserve the original experience on the original hardware?
@kelslewin@GameHistoryOrg Preserving games isn't just about the software itself, it's also the experience playing it on a given set of hardware. That's what the software was originally built for. Emulation doesn't capture the full spectrum of preserving it. I understand it allows it to be played though.
@blkhawk666 as an introvert I've always felt more comfortable with text than through voice. When I initially started my stream back in the day I found it extremely uncomfortable to commentate/talk to strangers. I still find it difficult.
