@tautologer It is a research reactor, not used as a power source. There’s obviously still intense radiation produced within it but not at the scale of nuclear power plant. The risks and impacts act of this reactor are on a significantly smaller scale.

@Wavestormed The commuter rail has too many stops for the train to accelerate and decelerate to max speeds. The largest distances between stops is 8 miles on the Worcester line. Not enough space to get to speed before slowing down.

But, direct Worcester to Boston, that’s a nice idea

Forest fire smoke is a strange anomaly for a few days, but I hope for everyone on the east coast/Midwest experiencing their first smoke season that it does not linger.
