Uganda dominates Qatar’s avocado and Nile perch markets, yet our premium coffee exports stand at just $240,000. In a high-consumption coffee nation, this is our biggest untapped opportunity.
Time to bridge the gap.

PDM in Action: A Farmer’s Steady Growth.
Meet Okello Jowel of Archways Agro Farm in Krianga Village, Achie Parish, Amolatar District.
He started in 2016 on 100 acres of family land. Today, the farm has grown to 300–400 acres with over 500 goats, 300 cattle, and nearly 300 sheep.
Last year, the farm earned good income from selling cattle and goats, plus crops. After expenses, they managed to save close to UGX 280 million. Okello puts most of his earnings from construction work back into the farm.
He credits the President’s advice on avoiding land fragmentation and support from the Ministry of Agriculture, which provides free semen for better cattle breeds. The farm now employs 18 permanent workers who receive monthly salaries.
This is the kind of practical progress PDM aims to support — hardworking Ugandans building real assets at the parish level.

Girls are often told what they can or cannot become. This session gave them a safe space to challenge those limits, discover their strengths, and explore their dreams.
They learned confidence, teamwork, communication, and the importance of speaking up and supporting each other.
Africans, think about ways to be helpful to society, to solve its problems, to meet its needs.
Focus on this, and the money will follow. Don't think of money as an end-cause.
In any case, truly creative or productive people are usually not much interested in money.
For us to have sustainability,we must have a fully monetized economy or near to it and also go into sectors like education/health to reduce the expenditure at household level that one doesn't have to sell off their wealth created in animals to take children to school or hospital.
