The city of Phoenix Arizona started a ‘Photo Safety Program.” They setup speed cameras that take a photo if you go 11 mph over the speed limit

🚨 A private company then comes to your door to serve you the ticket and get your signature, dressed very similar to Amazon

The city outsourced the ticket program to a company called Verra Mobility

The private company handles basically everything, they

- Installing and operating the cameras
- Processing of the images
- They mail the notice
- They then go out and serve people who don’t respond their ticket

The private company Verra Mobility gets a base fee of about $3,000 per camera per month plus $20 for every ticket that gets paid

This creates a clear incentive to pursue collection aggressively

This is insane… We now have private companies with access to all our information….. sending people out to actually serve and collect money….

It follows billboards in Tehran last week demanding death for Trump and every one of his children.

Whatever anyone thinks of this administration, targeting a man's wife and kids is a line no state should be anywhere near.

With talks actively ongoing, the last thing Iran should want is Trump feeling like his family is in the crosshairs.

White House source tells me that during President Trump’s meeting with Ukrainian President Zelenskyy @ZelenskyyUa today, it was agreed upon that Steve Witkoff @SteveWitkoff and Jared Kushner @jaredkushner will now make a visit to Kyiv, Ukraine for the first time ever in the spirit of diplomacy and trying to end the Russia-Ukraine war.

A date and time is going to be set soon, and the plan is to get them to Kyiv within the next 2 weeks.

This was my suggestion to the White House earlier this week when I met with President Zelenskyy and Ambassador Sergiy Kyslytsya at the Presidential Palace in Ukraine.

During all of my interviews here in Ukraine over the last week, I also urged Witkoff and Kushner to travel to Kyiv for meetings and I adamantly said they have had enough meetings in Moscow and should come to Ukraine. Especially now that Russia is supplying Iran with weapons and satellite imagery to murder American soldiers.

This is the issue that we always see. Things should get cheaper as time goes by and processes are made more efficient. Games get rid of disks, your think you'd see a drop. Factories get rid of people. You'd get cheaper production. But no, greed always wins.

They have a ‘LightSpray’ factory in Zurich where robots can build sneakers in just 3 minutes

The company says you don’t need 300 people working in a factory making shoes, “The next generation will not want to work in a footwear manufacturing site. So automation is a must”

Okay… so with essentially no labor costs you would assume these shoes would be sold at a cheaper price right? Nope

A quick glance at their website shows they’re selling them for about $170-$220 bucks each

Mamdani announces city-run groceries will set prices *30%* below retail.

Typical grocery margins are 2%.
Meaning:

First, the city will lose ungodly amounts of money -- at least 28 cents on the dollar.

Second, below-cost stores will steal enough market share that real groceries abandon the city.

Third, taxpayers will get tired of the money hole and slash subsidies.

At which point city groceries become money holes full of rotting food, so New Yorkers will have to take 2 trains and a bus to find a real grocery store.
