What an amazing #pala2024! I had a wonderful time presenting a part of my research and meeting so many friendly scholars! A huge thanks @SHU_Stylistics for bringing @PoeticsLinguist to Sheffield!
@sophparkes Always the radio on in the kitchen, usually a music channel, now I constantly listen to talk radio, only music for work and dining really. :)

So excited to finally have my hands on a copy of The Routledge Companion to Literary Media which contains a chapter on Archival Autofiction co-written by me & @AlterAlison!
Big thanks to @AstridEnsslin, @onlinereaders1 & Julia Round for their great work editing this collection!
Had a wonderful time running a creative writing workshop on archival storytelling together with @JoannaCDobson today at @SheffMuseums as a part of @otsfestival

Today, despite the remnants of a stinking cold, I gave my first ever lecture to a Master's course I was enrolled on myself just 2 years ago. Such a great experience and looking forward to much more in the future!
My first ever co-authored paper is now published! We describe the effects the COVID-19 pandemic has had on people's levels of fear, sadness & loneliness.

@JoannaCDobson We also had little squares in the next door forest that we would go visit and put stuff like apple cores, banana peels etc and then come back and see how they were decomposing. It was really great 😊 The actual composting of the leftover school lunches was less fun though ^^
