Le nouveau maire de Nice, Éric Ciotti, qui vient récemment de 𝗦𝗨𝗣𝗣𝗥𝗜𝗠𝗘𝗥 les 𝗙𝗢𝗨𝗥𝗡𝗜𝗧𝗨𝗥𝗘𝗦 𝗦𝗖𝗢𝗟𝗔𝗜𝗥𝗘𝗦 𝗚𝗥𝗔𝗧𝗨𝗜𝗧𝗘𝗦 destinées aux 22 000 enfants des écoles primaires niçoises, jugeant leur coût de 440 000 € "𝗧𝗥𝗢𝗣 𝗢𝗡𝗘́𝗥𝗘𝗨𝗫", avait été épinglé par Mediapart en 2023. À l’époque de l’enquête, Éric Ciotti présidait la commission des finances du Conseil départemental des Alpes-Maritimes.

Sa mère, Anny Ciotti, est prise en charge depuis 2004 dans un service de soins de suite et de réadaptation (SSR), 𝗣𝗢𝗨𝗥𝗧𝗔𝗡𝗧 𝗥𝗘́𝗦𝗘𝗥𝗩𝗘́ 𝗔̀ 𝗗𝗘𝗦 𝗦𝗢𝗜𝗡𝗦 𝗗𝗘 𝗖𝗢𝗨𝗥𝗧𝗘 𝗗𝗨𝗥𝗘́𝗘. Elle y était toujours plus de 18 ans plus tard.

Selon Mediapart, cette prise en charge aurait 𝗖𝗢𝗨̂𝗧𝗘́ 𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗥𝗘 𝟵𝟬𝟬 𝟬𝟬𝟬 et 𝟭,𝟮 𝗠𝗜𝗟𝗟𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝗗’𝗘𝗨𝗥𝗢𝗦 𝗔𝗨 𝗖𝗢𝗡𝗧𝗥𝗜𝗕𝗨𝗔𝗕𝗟𝗘, une somme assumée par la Caisse primaire d’assurance maladie des Alpes-Maritimes.

Cette situation aurait également permis à la famille Ciotti d’𝗘́𝗖𝗢𝗡𝗢𝗠𝗜𝗦𝗘𝗥 𝗣𝗟𝗨𝗦 𝗗𝗘 𝟱𝟮𝟲 𝟬𝟬𝟬 €.

La situation faisait d’autant plus polémique que les 𝗣𝗟𝗔𝗖𝗘𝗦 𝗘𝗡 𝗦𝗦𝗥 𝗦𝗢𝗡𝗧 𝗟𝗜𝗠𝗜���𝗘́𝗘𝗦 et essentielles pour accueillir des patients ayant besoin de rééducation ou de réadaptation.

Devant l’hôpital, Mediapart avait interrogé un homme venu rendre visite à sa sœur de 92 ans, qui dénonçait cette différence de traitement :

"Tout le monde le sait ici. Je n’ai rien contre Éric Ciotti et sa mère, mais il devrait être au même diapason que les autres. Ma sœur paye, et elle n’a pas de hauts revenus, les enfants participent. Pourquoi lui ne paye rien ?"

👉 Le père d’Éric Ciotti, Bernard Ciotti, interrogé par Mediapart à l’époque, expliquait de son côté payer 600 € par mois pour l’hospitalisation de son épouse, avant de préciser :

"𝗘́𝗥𝗜𝗖, 𝗟𝗨𝗜, 𝗡’𝗔 𝗝𝗔𝗠𝗔𝗜𝗦 𝗗𝗘́𝗕𝗢𝗨𝗥𝗦𝗘́ 𝗨𝗡 𝗖𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗜𝗠𝗘."

If they continue like this I see many countries pulling out of next world cup, because they will feel there's no need of competing since they decide the winner before the game is even played, people are seriously losing interest on the tournament.
