If you think expelling the Iranian Ambassador from Lebanon is illogical, then your attachment to this foreign entity is what's fueling the war in "your country"... so in this case, maybe you should consider leaving with your real ambassador as well

I instructed today the Secretary-General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants to summon the Iranian Chargé d’Affaires in Lebanon to inform him of the decision to withdraw the agrément for the designated Iranian Ambassador, Mohammad Reza Shibani, declare him persona non grata, and request that he leave Lebanese territory no later than 29 March 2026.

Operating illegally, facing public opposition & only leading Lebanon into misery...How can it justify its role as Lebanon's "protector"?
The real tragedy is those who still support it & sacrifice their families to its conflicts

The situation is unstable, bombings are constant and still we wait. For what? Another short-term deal that will expire in months? We've seen this movie before. When will the Lebanese government actually govern and take real action to protect its people and territory ?

The Lebanese government must take bold and decisive action now, because a government that watches its people suffer and does nothing has already failed its most basic duties to those it was supposed to serve

Lebanese PM Salam announced that they will no longer offer visa-free entry to Iranians. With us Lebanese citizens being bombed daily, we expect far more from the government... urgent real action to protect lives & NOT delayed measures that won't stop the violence
