@Crittxr Shadowkeep is where the community really pivoted to be mega toxic. Before Destiny 2 was its own separate game from D1, with barely anything reused, until Shadowkeep brought back old stuff, but it really didn’t. Like Crota was in the game but we couldn’t do the raid.
@splurgelex@PaulTassi “Oh Mr Elon that Tesla Dick feels so good, keep letting me glaze you for no reason at all even though you’d probably throw me in a woodchipper if you were offered $5. I have zero self respect and pay for Twitter because I worship men who don’t know my name” - You, a loser cuck
@NuCaloric I now know that’s not even where Heresy took its story as Oryx died again that same season. But it looked like they were gonna bring him back into the story as a new big bad with the Winnower replacing the Witness as his master. Felt like we went in a circle for a second there.
@NuCaloric This is my own personal problems with story going into EoF, THAT WERE PROVED WRONG when I played it: Heresy felt like desperation. Bringing back Oryx right after L&D saga end felt like they wanted to reset and I quit that mid-season cause I didn’t like where the story was going.
@juniichannel Since the DLC is focused on the return of Elder Dragons, I could see them making each one do something unique to the weather in the new area. Maybe when they enrage they change the weather.
@juniichannel Kinda cope but I’d like to see him do stuff with the environment. The new area is in the sky, he can control wind, it’d be really cool if he’d mess with the platform you’re standing on or make you free fall and land a hit on him middair.
@juniichannel Sorry i hope that didn’t come off as a “git gud” reply, not my intent. I just have heard a lot of people complaining about Kushala coming back but he’s lowkey a staple Elder Dragon.
@lutyrannus I have played it, it’s not enjoyable. The best part of the entire game was the environments and guns (to be expected, it’s Bungie). The overheat mechanic is annoying, no safe pocket is dumb, solo was literal hell and honestly nothing impressed me. It felt so boring tbh.
@Byrdman Bungie won’t shut down if Marathon fails (it isn’t) they’ll just be moved into a different role as studio. Bungie’s name is too valuable to shutter entirely.
And Marathon isn’t enjoyable to me and seems like a large majority of players, I fear it will remain niche, but that’s ok.
@clarityysix The comparison works because same studio. They said they’re ending support of Destiny and shifting focus to Marathon, this shows them that isn’t what the people want. What the people want is more Destiny.
@PaulTassi The were setting up some major storylines this update. Dredgens coming fully back into the picture, Old Chicago having some Nine artifact, a Weapon of Sorrow forge which is insane, mortals getting darkness powers, and setting up the IX sending us to kill the Winnower.
