I just checked and found that many datasets used for disability research are gone. We already have such limited data. This is devastating and dangerous.
I'm thrilled to report that my forthcoming book, We the Men: How Forgetting Women's Struggles for Equality Perpetuates Inequality, is the number 1 new release in Gender & the Law on Amazon. #WetheMen

I vote absentee bc I’m disabled. My disability makes it hard to grasp a pen/pencil. My ballot was rejected bc my signature doesn’t match what’s on file—typical bc of my disability. I asked @OCBOE to make a note of my disability so the rejection doesn’t happen again. They said no.
Though we covered Cummings and Acheson today, I also took some time to talk about the reality of the disability admin (thank you @ElizFEmens for the gift of those terms) I’m facing in my day-to-day life this week. Students shared their own accounts too. Teaching keeps me going.
"Happy to announce" day... @WisLRev will publish my new article "Missing Children Discrimination", co-authored w/my brilliant former student Tanisha Brown!
The abstract 👇, and we'll post a draft to @ssrn soon.
Comments are welcome! #newlawrevarticles
Congrats to all of the 2024 Geniuses, and especially @DorothyERoberts and my @nyuniversity colleague Jennifer Morgan!! Their work on reproductive justice (Roberts) and the role that enslavement has played in reproductive injustice (Morgan) influences and inspires me every day!
Thanks especially to @aerwrites for an intriguing question about the role narratives might play in faculty self-identity and willingness to accommodate

Min Jin Lee’s raw vulnerability & personal story of why she is in this fight — along with all her sisters, brothers, & neighbors — for Kamala Harris must be seen by everyone. We must fight for all of us. Please take 5 minutes & watch this.
I am excited to share that my article, The Structural Desexualization of Disability, is forthcoming in the @ColumLRev. Thank you to the many colleagues, friends, & loved ones who supported me by reading my piece, providing insight, feedback & inspiration throughout this process.
Different forms of personal narrative are often used by members of groups who are oppressed. Here's a letter I submitted to some law reviews when I realized that it's impossible to anonymize my work and that many others are likely in the same boat because no one talks about it.
