@jasonlipshutz I read this a chapter a day to savor the experience. It is so refreshing to read a biography where the author clearly respects and loves the subject (both the band and the music) and is a skilled writer. I talked my colleagues' ears off about it!
@HatchetteBooks and @jasonlipshutz
I was telling my high school students that I was getting a copy of this book, and then it showed up today! They were jealous!
Are you ready to help your students, but anxious about your lack of game knowledge? Elizabeth Hancock, coach at @WHS_eWarriors, has it covered! @ElizMHancock will walk you through the answers to all of the questions you didn't even know you needed to ask.

@jonlovett listening to LOLI & most HSs require a personal finance class. Teens often don't care about the content before they have to do it on their own. They complete the work, get the grade, and forget it. Then graduate and say HS should have taught them personal finance... :)
New York City's first Rat Czar (in charge of mitigating NYC's rat population) is a former elementary teacher.
The teaching profession has faced so many attacks that someone would literally fight all of the rats of NYC than be a teacher.
@MGoTF @JonTurnerEdD@MOEducation@MASALeaders@MSTA Okay, I found it with a "Moot" status. I assume the highlighted references to the four-day week would be deleted thus requiring a five-day week. I don't know what "Moot" status means though. Investigating.
@MGoTF @JonTurnerEdD@MOEducation@MASALeaders@MSTA I just reread that section and I don't see the four-day week mentioned. I searched the document for the word "day" and still don't see it. I work in a four-day district and feel very strongly about keeping it, but I am struggling to find it in this bill.
Today a student asked me a question, and I turned to look at them and answer all while continuing to type on my keyboard. First they thought I was pretending, until they walked up and saw zero typos. Then they said it was like watching The Exorcist.
AIM skills for the win.
Happy Birthday to @MurderDice!
Almost exactly 5 years ago I started tweeting at this pushy DnD player who insisted that I listen to his podcast. I cannot express enough how amazing the people I "met" have been and how much they have helped me through hard times. You rock!
Mortgage company admittedly messes up some numbers: I get charged $2400
Insurance company misquotes my coverage for physical therapy: I get charged $800 for what I was told would cost $125
Don't worry, I can always sell more of my plasma to try to tread water

When one of my favorite characters is put in mortal peril, I wish as hard as anyone that they survive.
But ultimately, I know the stories would be so much better if writers quit pulling punches and actually let the characters die.
So I'm a little disappointed when they survive.
