If you're working with human subjects on a topic of perception/attitudes/decision making, I would not call it 'lab' work.

@GoldenBrainReel @PhDVoice @AcademicChatter Very true! In my mind I equated a rapid-fire scenario with bringing the energy up (when it starts to lag during a traditional lecture). However, there are other ways of doing this for sure.

@MelissaVasi @PhDVoice @AcademicChatter Oh! In that case, if it's something you REALLY want to do, and will bring you joy, start small. Maybe (hand) writing in a notebook for 10-15 minutes in bed before sleep. Trade out TV time for novel time on the weekend. No harm in trying and putting on pause if it is too much.

@GoldenBrainReel @PhDVoice @AcademicChatter Do you think if your professors invested in equipment (microphone, camera beyond the one built into laptop, etc) and incorporated activities every 15-20 minutes (peer review, mini quizzes, rapid fire Q&A) that would help?

@DenaTrotto @PhDVoice @AcademicChatter I think a lot of students might feel this way. I wouldn't be surprised for more universities to start offering synchronous options for their distance ed programs (also wouldn't be against it!).
