Prayer challenge...Pick a person, someone you know or not, doesn't matter, but pick someone who is struggling. Pray for them every day. For their faith to grow, for an awakening, for peace, love, and an amazing life. They never need to know, but God will hear.

Unironically I think talking about our mental health less would do wonders for our mental health.
Just live your life. Be thankful for all you have. Wake up with purpose. Find ways to meaningfully contribute. Nurture relationships.
Constant victim mentality is a plague.
Student loans were supposed to be a pathway to the American Dream, but instead they’ve become a lifetime subscription to interest payments.
Congress should CAP federal student loan interest rates at 2%.
Americans should be able to pay back what they borrowed without paying for it twice.
Let’s get this straight:
PARENTS teach compassion, love, kindness, morality, etc.
TEACHERS teach reading, math, science, etc.
Full stop. Our deviation from that is why students are no longer moral nor intelligent. Let’s get back into our lanes.
The object of life is not happiness, but to serve God.
Going back and reading all of the ancient Arthurian legends and I realize all of the grail quests were to serve God. And it reminds me of something a wise man once told me:
If you just drop this idiotic notion that the meaning of life is personal happiness, then you’ll find that elusive quality immediately.
Seems like we can only hear deep truths like that when our soul is ready.
Humanity needs to learn to protect the sanctity of life again. From the smallest embryo to the old and infirm. No more True Crime or entertainment, no more murder mysteries, no more selfishness.
@Daniell64334313 Live each day with intention, meaning live that day to make it important to you. Make it a point to talk to people in person, say hello to a neighbor, purchase and wrap and actual gift for someone. Each season dive into something special to celebrate the weather or a holiday.
“Everybody wants to save the Earth; nobody wants to help Mom do the dishes.”
- P.J. O'Rourke
This famous quote points to a common flaw in human nature: our tendency to become inspired by grand, heroic causes while overlooking the small, practical responsibilities directly in front of us. People can easily rally around enormous, abstract goals like saving the planet because they feel noble, exciting, and meaningful.
Yet true character and kindness are often revealed through the ordinary, repetitive moments of everyday life. Washing the dishes or helping a family member may seem insignificant, but these quiet acts require effort without recognition, applause, or public attention.
Ultimately, the quote offers a humorous but pointed reminder that making the world a better place often begins with simple acts of responsibility and genuine kindness within our own homes.
