Interrupted 4 times during patient care today.
Each episode involved an "urgent" call from a parent immediately after seeing an "abnormal" result in their child's hospital system MyChart.
All 3 results were essentially normal.
This is not efficient patient care.

When I was a kid, I played hide and seek outside. I played catch. I rode my bike with friends.
I flew over the handlebars once and got a bunch of stitches when I was 8.
I never worried about getting shot.
Kids deserve to play outside and not worry about getting shot.
