Lindsey Isaacs, a 23-year-old from Palm Coast, Florida, testified about being thrown into solitary confinement for more than three days after a Flock license-plate camera wrongly tied her Dodge Durango to a deadly I-4 crash.

Jail staff told her she had to stay isolated because of how serious the charges were. The cell door stayed locked for about 86 hours.

She said she was terrified she would spend the rest of her life in prison for a wreck she knew she hadn’t caused.

At her lowest point she didn’t want to live. She spent nearly two weeks in maximum-security jail before prosecutors dropped the charges.

Flock should be sued out of existence for this.

The family court still made her pay £105,000 to divorce him.
He plead guilty. She is still in debt from having to pay him a settlement. Perpetrators should not walk away with a payout after years of control. That is the system finishing what he started.

The American Medical Association (AMA) is being sued over CPT codes.

CPT stands for Current Procedural Terminology. These are the codes physicians use every day to describe the care we provide and bill for it.

The AMA owns the copyright to these codes, and patients, providers and health systems have to pay to access and use them.

Last year, the AMA made roughly $300 million from licensing and royalties.

Now, a lawsuit is challenging whether a private organization should be able to charge for access to a coding system that is effectively required to navigate the American healthcare system.

Six of these ten Highland Councillors voted to allow a taxi driver who raped a passenger to keep his operator’s license — even though senior police officers urged them not to.

Please note that although we’re constantly told it’s women who grease the wheels for rapists, every single councillor who voted in rapist David Brown’s favor is a man. Take a good look at them, Scottish women: these 6 men would put you, alone and unwarned, in a taxi with a man who has already raped at least one passenger.

Brown has been put on the register for life; he raped an 18 year old girl and dumped her outdoors on a sub-zero January night in the Scottish Highlands; but these 6 men - Chris Birt, John Grafton, Ruraidh Stewart, Sean Kennedy, Willy MacKay, and Duncan MacPherson - are more concerned about his finances than they are about the safety of local women.
