BRC-20 is the next trend.
It has already reached a $300Mn+ market cap within just 2 months of launch.
Still way too much smaller than ERC20's marketcap, making it an early opportunity for #Airdrops.
Here is how to mint, buy BRC-20, and more👇
Trying to decide what to pick between Zksync, Linea, Scroll, and Manta?
Dune Dashboards = Alpha
Why? It lets you compare wallet competition
I scoured all the Dune dashboard I could find and these are the main takeaways
(bridging amounts below are based on official bridge and not 3rd party bridges, stats also vary slightly by dashboard)
ZkSync: 458M funding 1.25B valuation, 2.8M unique wallets
Bridging: more than $100 = above ~38% of wallets
more than $1000 = above ~69% of wallets
More than 1txn = above 13% of all wallets
more than 10txns = above 35% of wallets
more than 20txns = 49%
more than 50txns = 74%
Verdicts: (goal is to see how much work it will take to get within top 20%-25% of all wallets)
high awareness in terms of hype/attention/mindshare = much higher unique wallets/competition
50+ txns is a lot to do manually at scale without automation
bridging in $1000+ isnt unreasonable but may be unrealistic for majority
Linea: 727M funding 2.3B valuation, 380K unique wallets
bridging: more than 0.1 = above 31% of all wallets, more than 1 eth = above 88%
txns: more than 10txns = above 67%, more than 50txns = above 88%
Verdict: highest funding by a margin, but gas fees are most expensive
only 380k wallets, only takes 10txns to be above majority, limited Dune stats (no data between 0.1 -1 ETH from bridging)
Engagement farm milking campaigns from Linea are borderline offensive
Scroll: 83M funding 1.8B valuation, ~64k unique wallets
Bridging: more than 0.113 ETH to be above ~80% of wallets
96% of wallets only have 1 active day
txns: 11 or more txns = above 32% of all wallets
more than 100txns = ~86%
Verdict: unclear why valuation is so high relative to funding (compared to ZkSyncs 1.25B valuation but has 428M funding for example)
Mainnet is still fairly new (under 3 months)
requires very low to amount to be in top % for bridging (prolly due to official bridge being somewhat expensive of around 5$ in ~15 gwei)
be active for 2 or more unique days and your in the top 4% of wallets
big gap in dune info around txn data (thresholds jump from 10-100 but no data for in between)
Cheapest gas fees out of the 4 being compared here today
imo sleeper pick out of all 4, low wallet competition in bridged amount, unique wallets, txns and unique days, low gas fees
Manta ~29m funding, 500M valuation, ~75k unique wallets
bridging: more than 0.01 = above ~41% of all wallets
more than 0.1 = above 83%
Txns: no dune data around wallet txn thresholds
Verdict: fairly under the radar, lack of dune info makes it hard to judge amount of activity needed
but low requirement for bridged amount implies txn thresholds are fairly low
Good risk/reward for periodic interaction, gas fees can be expensive depending on the dapp (less than linea but more than Zk Sync)
Base chain: couldn't find any good dashboards to pull takeaways from
Will add links to all dune pages after this post has been up for 12hrs (so twitter doesnt throttle the post)
If you found this @info_insightful drop a follow for more content like this in the future
this took way to long to make and ill prolly repurpose it into a thread at some point and try to add some more takeaways and better/less small pictures
1/ How did I turn $1,000 into $30,000 with smart money?
I found a SmartMoney in $MATIC in June that is very good at buying lows and selling highs.
I added this address to my watch list.
Will try to keep 2023 simple. Spend more time on less things. Do's and Don'ts.
1. Education
2. Compliance
3. Product & Service
4. Ignore FUD, fake news, attacks, etc.
In the future, would appreciate if you can link to this post when I tweet "4". 🙏
