Watching those in power fail to take real climate action has been painful. We’ve been given a clear deadline, and we have solutions available. With the right leadership and political courage, we can fix this. https://t.co/LAjHEhQO6d
Deep appreciation to all first responders while we pray for all those injured and fighting for their lives in hospital. The Princess Patricia has a long and storied history. This may be its most painful moment. We stand with you and your families.
On behalf of all within the Green Party of Canada, we grieve with all impacted by the tragedy in #WainwrightAlberta. Our armed forces have not experienced such a horrific loss in peacetime.

Those are the choices Doug Ford is forcing on small towns in Ontario. Greens are calling for a new deal for municipalities, one that increases funding while maintaining local control.
The Green Party opposed Bill C-5 from the start. Now the Liberals want to remove one of the few limits placed on it.
Bill C-5 was meant to sunset after five years, stopping its “national interest” powers from being handed to future governments. Bill C-39 erases that safeguard.

Reconciliation is a responsibility we all share. Greens are committed to turning that responsibility into action through accountability, justice and meaningful change, today and every day.

Ottawa is kicking off the fall sitting by attacking labour rights. Free collective bargaining is the backbone of workers’ rights in this country, and the Green Party always will fight to protect it.
