We celebrated Patient Safety Stars this morning to kick off National Patient Safety Awareness week. Our stars are dedicated to the safety of our environment, our supply chain, our workforce - all to ensure that our patients get safe care. So grateful!
@RMGartlandMD@CaitlinNLi@AaronsonMD@MGHSurgery@AcademicSurgery Training is foundational and brings confidence and competence to our teams and their leaders. Thanks to our team for developing a broad program that has general content and applied content. Well done!
@SuzanneKovenMD Hi Suzanne best wishes during your transition and well done on your inbox. Grateful for all you’ve taught us through your writings and your interpretations of other writers’ works. Liz
Best news: no nasty new variant poised to take place of BA.5 (tho BA.4.6 bears watching). If this holds: 1) we should enjoy a Fall lull; & 2) new BA.5-specific booster (rolling out in Sept.) will work better than if it was confronting a new foe.
Enjoy your end-of-summer! (4/end)
@MGHIR1 Congratulations to Dr Daye and Dr Higgins for developing this intensive Quality and Safety learning opportunity for your trainees and learners in IR.
Came to MGH in 2015 as an MS1. The privilege of my life to train here. Grateful to my friends @mghmedres, all of my teachers/mentors, and countless staff for showing me everyday how to always put our patients first. Bittersweet to leave my home away from home in Boston. 1/2
