You could have heard a pin drop during today’s session led by @WAVETrauma Citizen Educators. Such powerful education on trauma through the medium of oral history. An amazing opportunity for our future nurses @QUBSONM I know AD6 group felt privileged to have been a part of today.
Made it to the end of EBN topic 4 @starkresearch1 feeling thankful for a little bit of stats knowledge from the maths methods module in the access course! @NFM1121EBN
Eeek!! Seems like everyone has started their first placement before me, but today is my day! Excited and nervous in equal measure! Hope I can serve the #nhs well and start to build on the skills we have learned so far! @QUBSONM @NFM1121EBN #studentnurse#firstplacement
Two things I am taking away from EBN topic two...
1. EBN is the confidence to have an opinion
2. A roadmap is only as up to date as when it was published and so is research! @GaryMitchellRN @NFM1121EBN @QUBSONM 🤓
Happy to share a preview of the unofficial guide to placement created by the peer mentors for the Sept 22 cohort. Was fantastic hearing some of the amazing things that happened students out on placement 😊 @QUBSONM@haylescaitlin1@RachelImelda175@EvePay22
@NFM1121EBN There have been many firsts in the last fortnight! Tonight it is a first tweet! So @GaryMitchellRN and @starkresearch1 why EBN for students? Because it makes sense to start a profession as you mean to go on, to ensure the best possible outcomes for people in our care!
