@moneillsf Sorry, but 'harrowing'?? how one might describe an accident, This attack was savage;some of these immigrants see beheading, disembowelling, cutting out organs, as acceptable revenge. Many have witnessed it & are damaged beyond repair, we don't want this barbarity here ffs

@griptmedia Horrendous situation, big gap between qualifying for SH & getting a mortgage, so many thousands trapped in between, and childcare, or a change in family circumstances/health, and people are left to flounder, too many of our own now to help, shut the immigration tap off.

@ThoughtCrimes80 It's truly barbaric how mothers are separated from their small babies in America, 6mths maternity leave here, paid by the state & topped up by many employers. Most women add holidays, sick leave etc to stretch it out to one year. Most creche won't even take a baby under 1 year..

@Aidan_Regan There should be an option for 1 parent to work part time during this period of child rearing, with a payment by Govt for lost hours. It would pay dividends. No one benefits from a child being in care until 6pm.
