BREAKING: Iranian officials are now openly declaring that the time for nuclear weapons has come, with a growing faction demanding Tehran weaponize its enrichment program and withdraw from the NPT to establish a complete deterrent against future U.S.-Israeli attacks, per the Financial Times.
Iranian officials now argue that negotiations alone have failed to prevent repeated attacks.
Hassan Ghashghavi, a spokesperson for parliament’s National Security Committee, said Iran’s new Supreme Leader could issue a new ruling on nuclear weapons and “nobody can stop him from doing so.” One insider estimates support for acquiring a bomb has surged from “almost zero to over 50%.”
Alas, poverty and ignorance have driven the North into the depths of her sorrowful decline. Today, it is mere entertainers (mawaka) and film stars who stand as her representatives. How far, and how tragically, have we fallen.
Imagine leaving your pregnant wife at home for work, only to receive a distressing call from her saying that bandits are trying to break into your house to to kidnap her. Imagine how helpless you would feel💔
This is the husband of pregnant Jamila, who was abducted alongside Ahmad Zakka and his family. Ahmad has regained his freedom, but Jamila and the other victims are still in captivity.
We call on the government to please do the needful and stop acting recklessly with the lives they are meant to protect.

Nasarawa is at the heart of Nigeria’s lithium boom, where artisanal miners hope to benefit from the global clean energy race. But as investment grows, they say they face unsafe working conditions, child labour concerns and communities still waiting to see the benefits.
Mehdi Hasan Confronts Nancy Mace Over Her Anti-Muslim Remarks — “Do You Stand With Muslim American Women?”
Nancy Mace: I’m terrified of radical Islam. I’ve seen what they’ve done in foreign countries when a woman shows her hair being stoned to death, being put to death. That’s not the kind of ideology I want to see grow in the United States.
Days before the 25th anniversary of 9/11, New York City’s mayor gave his signed remembrance order pin to a guy who defended a member of Al-Qaeda.
We’re seeing animal sacrifice approved by a local city council in Michigan, and people screaming “Death to America” on American streets. That kind of thing is growing, and we’ve got to put a stop to it.
Piers Morgan: Mehdi Hasan, your response?
Mehdi Hasan: It’s interesting you didn’t play the clip of Ted Cruz at the RNC where people in the crowd shouted, “Kill them, shoot them!” They were making death threats.
We also saw an attack on a mosque in San Diego, where three Muslim worshippers were killed. It’s very dangerous to use sweeping, bigoted rhetoric like this.
I’m afraid of radical Islam too. I don’t want to be killed by a Muslim terrorist, like anyone else. But that’s not all Nancy Mace has said.
She’s attacked Muslims in general and claimed no Muslim American should hold public office because they’re all “Trojan horses.”
Dr. Oz is a Muslim. He’s part of Trump’s administration. Is he a Trojan horse?
She has also claimed that all terrorists are Muslims. That’s obviously not true.
And when a woman in Texas confronted two Muslim-American women shopping and told them to leave the country, Nancy Mace tweeted, “I stand with Dasha.”
Mehdi Hasan: So why are you asking two Muslim-American women to leave the country?
Nancy Mace: I am not! And you have a monopoly on hypocrisy. Are you going to let the woman speak?
Mehdi Hasan: Before you attack me, deal with what I just said. You said, “I stand with Dasha.” Do you stand with Dasha? Do you stand with Muslim-American women?
Nancy Mace: I’m not racist. I’m American, and I’m America First.
Piers Morgan: All right, let us all settle down a bit. Nancy Mace, you want to respond.
Nancy Mace: This is an example of Mehdi’s anger toward me and his lack of respect as a woman. Not even allowing me to speak is basically part of Sharia law. That’s my point, Mehdi. You don’t respect women who have opposite views.
And Dasha isn’t the only Christian woman who’s been interrupted or accosted by Muslim women. Fifteen years ago, I was nursing an infant in a grocery store in Atlanta, minding my own business, when two Muslim women came up to me and asked me to leave.
This has been going on for over a decade, and it’s only getting worse.

In 2014, we warned about Boko Haram. Much of what we feared came to pass. Today, in 2026, we warn again: 16 years into this war, we have barely begun addressing what sustains it. Khalil was a child in 2015. Today, he is training another generation. The warning signs are here again.
🚨 BREAKING:
A U.S. Navy nuclear submarine officer on Gaza:
"We swore an oath to our country, but our test is stopping what's happening in Gaza. This isn't war, but systematic killing and starvation. Without America, Israel couldn't commit these crimes."
I’m ok. Make no mistake: this is an attempt to target political enemies and weaponize federal law enforcement. For ten years, Trump has targeted me with baseless lies and smear campaigns. This is just the latest escalation in his campaign of political intimidation.
I will not be silenced.
🚨 BREAKING:

This means they no longer recognize it as a state.

BREAKING: Iran is now openly considering forcing Google, Meta and other tech giants to obtain permits, undergo technical inspections and pay “sovereignty fees” for undersea internet cables passing through Iranian waters, per Tasnim News.
Major cable systems including FALCON and GBI cross the Gulf, turning the Strait of Hormuz into a strategic digital chokepoint. More than 99% of international data traffic travels through undersea cables, giving coastal states leverage over critical global connectivity.
The move follows Mohsen Rezaee’s threat to destroy undersea cables, data centers and AI facilities across the region if the U.S. and Israel resume the war, claiming those assets are worth over $2 trillion. Iran is now threatening the Gulf’s digital infrastructure with destruction — while also seeking to charge companies for access.
A year has passed since Palestinian journalist Saleh Aljafarawi was killed in Gaza City, just days after a "ceasefire" agreement between Israel and Hamas. His death remains a reminder of the violence endured by journalists reporting from Gaza.

Nigerian scientist Abdullahi Ibrahim Uba, who is pursuing his academic and research career in Turkey, has announced his inclusion in the 2026 World’s Top 2% Scientists list compiled by Stanford University and Elsevier.
Uba was listed in the field of Chemistry, specifically under Medicinal and Biomolecular Chemistry, reflecting the multidisciplinary nature of his research activities.
Reacting to the recognition, he said he was somewhat surprised by the classification, explaining that his research extends across several interconnected scientific fields, including chemistry, biology, bioinformatics, computational biology and drug discovery.
He noted that his work often lies at the intersection of these disciplines, where researchers combine different approaches to investigate complex scientific questions and advance knowledge.
Uba also suggested that future editions of the ranking might classify his research under Biology, particularly Bioinformatics or Computational Biology, depending on how his multidisciplinary work is categorised.
Reflecting on the experience, he emphasised that scientific discovery often occurs where different disciplines meet, allowing researchers to explore problems beyond the boundaries of traditional academic fields.
His recognition highlights the contributions of Nigerian researchers working internationally and pursuing research that connects multiple areas of science.
🇳🇬 From Kano to Turkey, Abdullahi Ibrahim Uba’s recognition adds another Nigerian name to the international scientific research landscape.
