We are a group of students that wish to educate ourselves beyond classroom expectations with real world experience in engineering and robotic technologies.
After two weeks of โ๏ธ snow and ice ๐ง we finally get to continue learning! Today, our Beginner Group will continue developing their video games, and the Advanced Group is getting really close to having operational, remote-controlled battle bots...๐ค ๐พ ๐ฎ
The past year was incredibly productive for us! It lends us support and foundation for this semester. What will we accomplish next? We'll keep you posted as we develop our battle bots and games!

We enjoy having you and other #IEEE volunteers! You have a large impact on the students and encourage them. @OzarkIEEE has helped to reinforced the close-knit bonds of the community under a unified goal, and we can't thank you enough! Thank you @am_francis for volunteering!
I sometimes get asked why I volunteer for #ieee. Today, I had a parent tell me how much their son looks forward to @OzarkIEEE@ElkinsRobotics club every week. That's why I volunteer. @IEEEUSA
Welcome back to class! With the arrival of a new year comes new opportunities to learn. EREC will be hosting an informational meeting on this years project (a weather station) at the Elkins Public Library this Wednesday at 5:00 PM - we hope to see you there!
Nostalgia Alert: over a couple of weeks, the Tinker Squad has managed to take something old and give it new life! They started with a normal one-on-one phone call with Mr. Wiggles (Dr. Francis) into a four-way party line, learning a little about telecommunications in electronics.
Say hello to our new EREC section: The Tinker Squad! Depicted here, we have our new members of EREC, teaching them new and great things in circuitry! Would you like to join? Come stop by the Elkins Public Library on Wednesday at 5PM! No knowledge is required, we welcome all ages!
You enjoyed it in the fall, so we brought it back; we have another introductory section on robotics! Stop by the Elkins Public Library on April 27 between 11:30-2:00 for a little lesson in robotics with @OzarkIEEE and the Elkins Robotics/Electronics Club! Hope to see you there!
The Elkins Robotics/Electronics Club works during the Spring Break! Stay tuned for an announcement about the next outreach date!
Pictured here from left to right is Nadison, Tahlia, Mrs. Owens, Lane, and Dr. Francis - all working on the next stage of the project.
This time last year we were making lights for the University of Arkansas ENCLOTHE fashion show! Let's continue the excellent work and forge ahead, EREC! See the videos below on last year's project! Thank you, @UArkansas@OzarkIEEE!
