@AvantiWestCoast@SteamboatWilli8@williamsben2302 We are on the train stuck at Carlisle and final destination is GRK. Do Scotrail organise taxis to GRK or do we sleep rough tonight? Asking for dozens of passengers who have onward journeys.
Sad but not surprised to see the SNP rebels vanquished once again. It reinforces my decision to stop banging my head off a brick wall. There is no way the SNP will win the election outright. This strategy is just about maximising their vote so the gravy train can continue.
@BBCNews it’s on such days when the focus is on Scotland and NI you see how ill-informed are newsreaders on geography beyond London. Please help @MartineBBC and let her know that Largs is not in the east of Scotland and help her to pronounce Donaghadee. #StormEowyn#Weather
Scotland is the most corrupt place on planet earth.
We allowed an open conspiracy to jail a former FM to go ahead without any repercussions.
We just breezed past the fact Sturgeon launched a non sea-worthy vessel that had the windows PAINTED ON as an election stunt.
We all just accepted that government ministers and staff were regularly deleting key communications, communications we the public are entitled to see, during the worst time in most of our lives the covid years. Some of them decribing this practise as a “bedtime ritual”
We just glossed over the deviancy of Derek Mackay the then finance minister and potential future leader of the SNP texting/sexting a young 16yo boy. Not only was this glossed over Derek was handed tens of thousands of our money as a golden goodbye.
We somehow had the ridiculous and insane spectacle of a man in a blonde wig and Barbie outfit convicted of rape being sent to a woman’s prison. Whilst having been charged but not yet convicted of rape he was even allowed to attend college, funnily enough he chose beauty therapy where he was applying fake tan to women…
Somehow LGBTYS is still in operation despite its former CEO being convicted on a life sentence for being the ringleader of Scotland largest ever paedophile network. Not only are they still in operation they are now touted as paragons on virtue by our politicians and are in virtually all our state schools giving them intimate access to children.
So so many examples of extreme, egregious, corrupt and immoral dealings here in Scotland to detail them all without writing an entire book. If you feel inclined pop some more examples in the comments.
Scotland is by far the most corrupt place on planet earth.
JD Vance takes a shot at the UK Labour Party:
“What is the first truly Islamist country to get a nuke? And we were like, maybe it's Iran, maybe Pakistan already kind of counts. And then we finally decided maybe it's actually the UK since Labour took over.
@BBCNews I’m curious to know why the resignation of a mere football team manager is given greater prominence in your headlines than the resignation of the First Minister of one of the constituent parts of the United Kingdom.
@christiancalgie Willcocks arrangement. It’s magnificent with these resources of course, as are the Elgar and particularly the Britten arrangement. Meanwhile in the northern outpost of the Empire, we must tolerate a beautiful folk song, now reduced to a pub dirge. Good luck England. ‘Mon Spain!
In which the First Minister of Scotland does a very good impression of a teenager trying to bullshit his way through questions on a book he’s never read.
It took the @BBCSport commentator about 10 seconds to mention about ‘football coming home’ and then the English crowd’s pointless booing of the Serbian nat anthem. It shouldn’t be difficult as a Brit, to wish them well them but there you go. #EURo2024
