🔥 @RepCohen: “Don’t tell me, John Roberts, The Supreme Court is not political. It is an arm of the White House. 🇺🇸 is being destroyed from within 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.” #Memphis#JimCrow#RacistRedistricting
.@JonMeoli of @AllBannerSports piggybacked on what Ben McDonald said Wednesday postgame regarding the #Orioles and their apparent reluctance to change their approach to analytics:
“I think there’s a part of this where there’s a lot of organizational pride involved.” #Birdland
@madrid_mike It's not so surprising. Black voters like most of the Dem base, have had it with the disdain we receive from the party, even when they send $ asks. But never get around to asking for our votes or what their base needs, dreams, cares about. ¡Qué quilombo!
@BaltimoreBanner I rented a whole house in "upper fells point" (North side of Eastern Ave and Broadway) for $300/mo in what I guess was the early-mid '90s. Not my first B-more rental, but the earliest for which I remember the price. I'm old. Ask me about NYC in the 80s!
Whatever your politics, whatever you think about the outcome of the election, we as Americans must all agree on this; Donald Trump's conduct on Jan. 6 was a supreme violation of his oath of office & a complete dereliction of his duty to our nation. It is a stain on our history.
"...wrongly believe that the authoritarian threat is over, that 1/6 was an isolated event from our past, rather than a mild preview of our future. That misreading is provoking an underreaction...and the worst may be yet to come." https://t.co/19Uv6yUZYh
@AccountableGOP The sad part is that we had an impeachment to make sure he couldn't return to office, and the very same GOP voted against that remedy. So I'm a bit tired of hearing things they say "privately" because if they wanted him gone, they had a chance to get rid of him.
President Trump has never publicly acknowledged his responsibility for the attack. The only time he apparently did so was in a private call with Kevin McCarthy.
@kyoshino@BaltimoreBanner “What I plan on doing is getting to know the people of the community, which I’m really excited to get started doing and understand how do we fit.” Baltimore looks forward to getting to know Mr. Heyward, or at least I do.
