Let me tell you a story about a guy I knew who wanted to take out a loan for his hun at the time. Few days prior to talking to the bank, he left his job to move to another city with this girl. Love was in the air. Unfortunately moving ended up costing more than what they expected and the girl had taken out loans before so she felt bad about taking another one.

Boy then had a foolish idea of trying out for a loan for her. A measly R7k. He had never taken one before and genuinely believed that since he left his previous company a few days ago, his previous pay slip would count for something and that maybe his information would still be in the system with the previous company. It wasn't.

He got flagged with the bank for fraud and his was barred/restricted/blacklisted (Whatever the phrase) from taking out any financial products by the South African Fraud Prevention Services for the next 10 years. For 10 years he could not take out a loan, cellphone contract, clothing account etc...

I know you're probably just joshing and engagement farming but, please. Don't even play with that idea.
