I grew up believing hard work alone creates wealth.
Then I noticed people working 12-hour shifts still struggling.
The difference wasn’t effort.
It was ownership.
Employees earn salaries.
Owners earn leverage.
@blueve1nz@CFCPys@FabrizioRomano@podcastherewego You’re a fool this guys keep peddling fake news and propaganda against Enzo check fab page he hasn’t said anything about Enzo today same as onstein
I met a British guy at Heathrow Airport who looked like he was about to make the biggest mistake of his life.
His name was Mason.
We happened to be in the same airport lounge. His restlessness was what made me notice him.
He would sit down, stand up, look around, touch his head…
After a while, I forgot about him.
About an hour later, I went to board my flight and noticed the same guy again.
We were on the same flight.
While walking towards the aircraft, he paused a few times. Slowed down a few times. At one point, he looked like someone who had forgotten something important or someone who wasn’t sure he wanted to travel anymore.
We finally boarded.
He was in 4A.
I was in 5B.
So we were sitting pretty close.
Man was still restless... Scratching his head, covering his face with the blanket... Constantly adjusting himself.
I concluded that he had aviophobia just like me.
When we reached cruising altitude, he got up to use the toilet.
On his way back, our eyes clicked.
“You’re the guy I saw at the lounge earlier, right?”
I nodded.
We introduced ourselves properly.
I asked what he was going to Doha for and eventually mentioned that I had noticed how restless he had been since Heathrow.
He paused... Then continued
“I woke up one morning and made a decision. Right now, I’m living that decision… and I’m scared I might be making the wrong one.
I have lived in the UK for 35 years and worked in construction.
I clocked 35 last month, and since after my birthday, I have been questioning my purpose.
It feels like I have been living the same life... Same weather, same food, same feeling, and same people.
My friends and family don’t know I am on a plane to Asia to start again. Getting to the airport, I started missing everything and everyone. That is why I am restless.”
It wasn’t fear of flying.
It was fear of leaving everything familiar behind.
I asked him one question:
“If you abort this journey now and return home, do you think you’ll feel fulfilled?”
He thought about it.
Then said:
“No. I think sooner or later, I’ll regret it.”
I smiled.
“Then free yourself… and allow your spirit to guide you.”
From there, our conversation changed.
I told him about the countries I had visited in Asia.
I told him why I enjoyed Thailand.
Why I enjoyed Hong Kong.
Why I enjoyed the Philippines.
The people.
The experiences.
The freedom of discovering a version of yourself that your old environment never had the opportunity to meet.
And while we were talking, I could see and feel his restlessness disappear.
He became excited, curious, and motivated.
We talked about places he should visit, things he should experience, and how to build a social life from scratch.
I shared my address with him in Asia and told him to expect me soon.
I gave him Saheed’s number, my barber, and shared a few other contacts with him that could make his weekends busy and filled with activities.
By the time we landed in Doha… we had bonded so well.
Doha was my final destination, but Mason had another flight to catch.
His layover was about two hours so I stayed at the airport with him until it was time for him to board.
While we were waiting, he called his parents.
He told them everything.
Where he was.
What he had done.
Where he was going.
They wished him well.
I even spoke to them too.
Eventually, his flight was called and
After completing my degree in Calabar, Cross River State, I faced a difficult choice: remain there for the long haul or take a leap and relocate to Abuja.
Everyone I was closest to lived in Calabar. The thought of surviving in a city where I knew almost no one and barely recognized any streets weighed heavily on me.
Then, on 19 December last year, I left Calabar for good. I have not yet achieved everything I came to Abuja for, but I am deeply happy I made that decision.
Thank you for always bringing the right stories to us.
Thank you, Spirit.
AS WE APPROACH THE NEW SEASON, BE GAMBLE AWARE.
The more hope the betting industry can feed you, the more cash the betting industry gets out of you.
A punter gets a cut 1 and consoles himself and his community that they almost won.
“Na just one game spoil am.”
And somehow, losing by one starts feeling like evidence that success is near.
That is exactly what the betting industry feeds on.
THE HOPE.
Because if you lost every bet with cut 5, cut 7, etc, eventually you would convince yourself to stop.
But when you lose by one?
When 14 games enter and only one disappoints you?
You don’t feel defeated.
You feel CLOSE.
And feeling close is the trap because the brain starts interpreting that closeness as progress.
So you deposit again.
The betting industry doesn’t really make its biggest money off your greed.
Their biggest cash out is you staying hopeful.
HOPE can make you come back 1,000 times.
And that is also why the “free bet bonuses” come every week.
That bonus is the industry keeping your HOPE alive. WE WANT YOU TO TRY AGAIN.
Gambling itself is not the only thing you need to understand, you also need to understand how the bookie thinks.
While you are calculating how much you could win, the bookie is calculating how long they can keep you playing.
The moment you understand the psychology behind the game, you stop seeing every “almost” as proof that your breakthrough is near.
Taking risks can be beautiful,
but stay guided,
play safe…
and know when enough is enough.
No matter how much of a moving man you are when it comes to gambling, you can still be unlucky for 365 days.
Okay let’s be realistic if the whole story Peter said have a lot holes
Then let’s come to Jude
If the money Cynthia Morgan made was this alone how then are they over hundreds thousands of dollars in northside music that Jude claims he made it from his artist royalties as alleged by Peter ?
Stanley died in this river, and I also watched this river take my best friend.
Stanley was the best swimmer on campus here in Abraka. After he wrote his last paper, he came straight to this beach (Mudi Beach) to swim. And it wasn’t just him… Final-year students filled the beach celebrating their final exams.
After a while, I left them at the beach to cook. About an hour later, I heard noise. I peeped and saw a crowd… I went out to see what was happening.
That was when I was told the river took Stanley.
I couldn’t believe it…
The same Stanley I just said hi to was now gone? The same Stanley that swam in this river from his first year?
It was so painful. We all cried. It was a sad day.
“So please, now that you are in this school, avoid that river, ok?”
I nodded…
I had goosebumps all over me and could feel the fear as my cousin explained the mystery of River Ethiope. She was in her final year while me, I had just come in.
But then again, swimming is my passion. How can I be this close to this river and yet can’t swim in it?
My mind was flooded with thoughts as I tried convincing myself.
From my lodge (Sunrose) to Mudi Beach was just a few minutes’ walk.
The next day, I walked to the beach. I saw people having fun. Nobody was swimming.
I looked into the river…
It was so beautiful.
Crystal clear.
It was calling me…
And the hold on me was strong.
I knew I would swim it.
Minutes later, I saw an old man coming out of the water with a broom. After he came out, he greeted the water and walked away.
Out of curiosity, I approached the guy selling barbecue fish to ask who the man was and what had just happened.
He explained to me that the old man was one of the keepers of the river. He goes in with the broom to sweep the riverbed and take out dirt.
While he was explaining, the old man approached us, and the barbecue guy told him that I was asking about him.
So I asked the old man what the mystery behind this water was and why people say it is one of the most dangerous waters on earth.
That was when he told me that River Ethiope is known for its source and its current.
Its currents can change unexpectedly and drown even experienced swimmers.
He said the water pressure and flow can vary along different sections of the river, creating currents that may not be visible from the surface.
He said as clear as it is, there are sudden deep holes.
The surface may appear calm while stronger water is moving below. This creates an illusion that the river is completely safe until a swimmer reaches a deeper section.
He asked if I was an indigene of Abraka.
I told him, “Isele-Uku.”
He smiled, told me to be careful, and left.
I concluded that water wasn’t for me.
I was already drowned in fear…
I went back to my hostel.
Friday came.
I was on my way from the Social Science Block when I convinced myself to stop by again.
This time, I saw people swimming…
I couldn’t resist the temptation.
I was so carried away that I didn’t prepare myself for possible “what ifs.”
LAGOS STATE MODEL COLLEGE, BADORE was where I learnt how to survive in water.
From JSS1, surviving meant jumping into the well/reservoir to hide from teachers, fetch our keys when they fell inside, or create a human ladder to access water during the dry season.
And yes… it was deep.
By the time I entered JSS3, jumping into the well wasn’t just about survival anymore…
It became fun.
So…
Back to River Ethiope.
I entered the river and joined others swimming.
The water was so great and cooling…
I really enjoyed it.
I was there for hours.
I noticed absolutely nothing.
I became convinced people were just trying to scare me because I was JJC.
The next day, being Saturday, I was fully ready to go in hard.
Not knowing that was the day village people prepared for me.
I got to the river, changed, and went in immediately.
Started swimming from one point to another.
Went to the deeper side, came back…
Went again, came back…
And then

You have been moving stupidly for days on this case.
I genuinely wonder how a retarded and biased individual like you has the nerve to call yourself the “voice of the Igbos.”
You are shamelessly trying to whitewash Jude and Paul, making them look better than they are, while the evidence is freely available online for anyone who is not deliberately blind.
I would not be surprised if this is just pure engagement farming. You know the majority stands with Peter, and any of your foolish takes on this matter will provoke the exact reactions you are fishing for.
