@LoopsSupa@SkyNews Understand and agree. For non celebrity working class kids, I think one of the biggest barriers to success is ineffective communication- which includes poor spoken English. Yes be proud of your accent- mine is strong! But be able to speak clearly at interviews.
Language is about communication, not unwritten rules that an elite few decide is right and wrong. If you did not understand what Alex Scott said, tell me the problem and I'll happily translate.
@andrew4mk I work at an independent school. We stopped teaching Latin and introduced Mandarin five years ago. Gav hasn't been anywhere near a school, state or private, since he was 18. He has no idea what goes on in classrooms.
Nor surprised to see a 'Trump 2024' flag at the so-called #freedomrally in London.
These crowds always include a large far-right element, as well as deluded #COVIDIOTS who have watched too many dodgy Youtube videos.

But surely we can ignore everything and just do what the hell we want, regardless of professional advice? Can I get a well-rehearsed demonstration? #covidiots π
@davidschneider He is, however, cowering from those in Trafalgar Square today who think it's OK to call for the hanging of NHS workers. That "cower"word is all playing into the "bedwetter", "nappy wearing" vernacular that they all use.
@sajidjavid Absolute disgrace to align yourself with those in Trafalgar Square today. They demanded nurses be hanged, and yet here you are echoing what they believe.
So a government minister, the HEALTH minister, has aligned himself with those who attack people who wear masks and take appropriate action to prevent infection. You know, those who call mask-wearers bedwetters and nappy wearers. The anti-vaxxers. Is Marr on holiday or something?
