As part of raising awareness for Stroke prevention I am planning to run 1500 miles this year. # NHS 1500 miles to prevent strokes. Have clocked 160 miles in January. Blood pressure is the major risk factor for strokes. Hence encouraging everyone to get your pressure checked.
This is such a tragic shame for a huge amount of people who benefit from lung volume recruitment. A cheap easy to use and maintain device which is a lifeline for many.

about 2 weeks ago a patients who’s had a rough journey said he wanted to be home with his family for Christmas. After hours of trying to sort his complex discharge today he went home, in plenty of time for Christmas. Big smile on my face tonight, some days my job’s the best 🥹🎅🏻
