I was so blessed to have been there the very first time she ever opened her eyes and the very last time she closed them. I’d never cared for a kitten as young as she was before.

She was the light of my life and I very much feel like a part of my heart collapsed with her lung.

On Sunday night I had to rush Wallis to the emergency vet. She had a tumour growing on her heart that had burst and subsequently collapsed one lung and had started causing her heart to fail and I had to make the decision to put her down.
She had only turned 4 on 15/06/25 😞

My blood oxygen is 87-88% and the soonest I can see a medical professional is a nurse is the 19th who would then decide whether it’s important enough to need to see a GP.
(Also yes all my nails are clubbed)

I love that we have an NHS but it would be really nice if it functioned.
