Meet Haruki! He is named after Haruki Murakami, who often has cats in his books. He has written about cats who vanish. Haruki is an expert at this. He can jump very high and then squeeze into tight spaces. His other skill is leaving hairballs where people will step on them.

@NellyPringle8@jeremylang@SteveMartinToGo Ha, yes. The Oxford comma prevents the second two elements from being read as an appositive of the first, as in @JeremyLang's example, or in the probably apocryphal book dedication: "To my parents, Ayn Rand and God," the example I used when I taught copyediting and grammar.
I just subscribed to Fighting Unreason With Reason because it's not doctrinaire right/left, lib/con, etc. But I guess duality is as real as we want it to be--let's see where Seth David Radwell's new newsletter goes! https://t.co/lAPBYr7YG6

@BradWarner I have to agree. They're baaaaad. I rarely go there unless I know there's a teaching or performance I want to see, but I watch w sick fascination as the little YouTube "suggestions" pop up on my desktop afterward. It's SO clear that their algorithms are doing, amplifying issues.

@turbovax your selfless work made such a difference in people’s lives—you probably saved many lives. The ripple of one massively good deed is incalculable. You’ve inspired me and many others! Thank you, and may all the world enjoy good health and practice generosity, like you.
