I will say my doctor spoke about the injustice of how IUD insertions are treated vs. vasectomies and they were really good to me through the process.

The medical world needs to catch up to equality of non-AMAB bodies.

Getting my IUD was minimized to me SO much before getting it done. It was horrifying. I was not prepared and they give you nothing during the process to support muscle relaxation or pain.

Children’s Benodryl was what I was given.
