Having access to affordable studio spaces is crucial for artists, especially in the current climate, when the arts and artists are chronically under funded. Pleased to have been able to support the campaign to save our @acmestudios in deptford. Now on @ITVX
This week the UK Government passed one of the most reprehensible laws in Britain's recent history, the hated Illegal Migration Bill
It also prepared to house thousands of asylum seekers on a cramped barge, and in former military bases.
None of this was in the Conservative Party's 2019 election manifesto. None of us voted for any of it.
The coming general election will be a chance to demand fair, compassionate UK asylum system, and we're asking you to pledge to campaign for it for the when the time comes.

The most wholesome in-person day with the @GlitchUK_ team to celebrate our #DigitalMisogynoir Report Launch AND our Online Safety Bill Campaign win. This is what a great team and joy at work looks like 💛💛
The UK’s Illegal Migration Bill has passed - a dark turn for human rights in this country, and for Britain’s role in the world.
This attempt to deny the inalienable rights of refugees contravenes international law and threatens global systems of protection.
No human is illegal.
So proud of Glitch's work.
Want to learn more about our findings? Join us at 1830 TOMORROW where you can hear more, listen to the lovely @seyiakiwowo and Josh from @_busybeingblack chat and ask any burning questions! 💛💫

Hello hello - we are planning a live event for the I’m Not A Monster Series. We want to know what questions you’d have about Sam from series one and her story? And Shamima from series 2. Please send them my way.
On 19 July, we're launching our #DigitalMisogynoirReport, which challenges tech companies and governments to make online platforms safer for everyone by meaningfully addressing a key part of online hate: Digital Misogynoir.

I have an unexplained vendetta against tupperware. Loads of it, not enough lids (where the f do they go?!?!), awful to wash, bad for the environment. 0/10 from me.

Today's inbox: three requests to work for free. One would cost me £110 in rail fare, another would cost me 50 hours of work, and the last says "we don't have a budget for speakers, but we can promise a nice lunch." Folks, if you're paying the caterers, you can pay your speaker.
🚨 as part of my residency @FACT_Liverpool we have an open call for Black folk *only* 🗣️Black Futures' 🔮🧕🏽🪄🌊
Proposals should consider: what does the future look, sound and feel like for Black lives? What and where is the future? What role do digital technologies play?
